This Saturday, the Nursery Presents is proud to have David Razowsky onstage at the Edric Theatre. It is also the opening night of the second Nursery Originals, Open Roads.
David Razowsky is a former artistic Director of the Second City Training Centre, where he spent 21 years making things up and helping others to do the same. He has worked with companies including Boom Chicago, Steppenwolf and Dreamworks Animation Studio. He was a creative consultant on ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’ and was taught by Del Close himself. In fact, in improvisation, there isn’t that much that he hasn’t done, taught or talked about on his fantastic Podcast, ADD comedy.
Dave and Jules hit it off last year when David was visiting the UK and will again be performing the ‘Chairs’ format, one of David’s own creations. Freeform, fast and as dramatic as it is funny, this show sold out last year and promises to be one of the must-see improv shows of the autumn. With support from the students of David’s Improvised Comedy Intensive. This is the only time to see David perform in the UK this year, so, well, that's a thing!

We are equally proud to have the first outing of the second Nursery Originals, Open Roads that night, an improvised road trip movie driven by your song suggestions.
Open roads are paths to chase your future or escape your past. Four people on a road trip. Hopes and struggles lie along their path, music blares from the radio and destiny lies just across the horizon. It might be funny but it could be sad, angry or just plain beautiful. Inspired by movies like Everything Is Illuminated, Y Tu Mama Tambien and Little Miss Sunshine. Based on the game Ribbon Drive by Avery Mcdaldno.
Give us your music, let’s make a mixtape and head for open roads.
