Unique, high energy comedy from MissImp, Nottinghams only improvised comedy troupe. Especially for Light Night we're playing late in the evening, introducing new performers to join us on stage.
Everything in the show is based on audience suggestions which we twist and turn into scenes, games and sketches to amuse, bemuse and hilaricise*. Youll never see anything quite like it again.
Sharp timing and quick wit sets MissImp a cut above the standard comedy fare. They have literally no idea whats going to happen and yet it works beautifully.

"I think the course was very insightful and well structured. Awesome kickass weirdness and comedy on the last Friday of the month. You'd have to be certifiably wrong to miss it.
Unique, high energy comedy from MissImp, Nottingham’s only improvised comedy troupe. The fearless team base the entire show on your suggestions and turn them up to eleven and beyond. The evil child of sketch comedy, stand up and theatre: this is brain to stage with nothing in between. You’ll never see anything quite like it again.
"bizarre, funny and enthralling" Nottingham Evening Post
“4 stars: fun, inclusive, energetic and uplifting… their patent talent is refreshing” Three Weeks @ Edinburgh Fringe 2011
Sharp timing and quick wit sets MissImp a cut above the standard comedy fare. They have literally no idea what’s going to happen and yet it works beautifully.
It's a fast paced show of frenzied comic wonderment – alternately witty, filthy and lyrically whimsical. You’ll be amazed at what can make you laugh, and possibly ashamed... it’s all based on your ideas!
Warning: may contain long words, swearing, incredible leaps of imagination, very bad accents, innuendo and extreme foolishness.

Bristol’s highly acclaimed Comedy Improvisation Company ‘INSTANT WIT’ are back at the Brewery Theatre at the Tobacco Factory on Sunday 26th February at 7.30pm.
As ever, the show is completely improvised, everything is based on audience suggestions. So it’s up to you what we sing about, where the sketches are set or even where our very own troublesome teenager mis-spends his or her time! But don’t worry, nobody is forced to participate and we even build in a section where anonymous suggestions, written down in the interval, can be acted out. Good suggestions receive flying packets of custard; the best of the evening gets a bottle of wine!
You might have seen something like this on the t.v. – but remember, this is totally live! Scarier for the actors, but much more satisfying for the audience: if you like your comedy fast-paced and with a slightly unusual edge, this is definitely for you.
Instant Wit – a bunch of very Unusual Suspects who are forever on the run from the Comedy Police!
