I'm pretty sure this is the first time an improvised show has ever hit the West End for a full run - let me know if I'm wrong but this is a historic moment in the life of improvised theatre...
Here's how the Showstoppers announced it:
"We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have secured a run at The Apollo Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue from September 24th to November 29th.
We’ll be creating 80 brand new musicals during the run and with the most fun kit to play with – brand new set, amazing lights, fantastic sound. We’ll be making up the biggest and most thrilling musicals we’ve ever attempted!
Thanks so much to all of our supporters over the years who have come to see out show again and again, watching it evolve over the years – and we are looking forward to seeing you all again for its latest incarnation at the Apollo!"
