BACK TO NEWS HEADLINES24-hours of short-form impro to raise money for Comic Relief
Joining us throughout the show will be other improv groups, as well as stars of stage and screen.
Pippa was one of the stars of BBC2’s ‘Fast and Loose’, and is a regular contributor to Radio 4’s ‘Now Show’. David Kirkland, artistic director and founder of non de script described the show as ‘a great opportunity to bring together a number of improvisers from across the thriving improv scene in London, and celebrate some of the amazing, hilarious things that are happening in our capital, whilst raising money for such a fantastic charity’. Alex Sievewright said that he ‘had done 24 hour charity events before, but those have been mainly sitting on my bum, playing video games for 24 hours straight. This one will be different because I won't have that luxury. It will be 24 hours of making stuff up, being funny and probably running around like a headless chicken. I'm going to try and prepare myself for this somehow... I know how hard staying awake for 24 hours is. I also have to prepare Dave for this too. I don't think he's stayed awake for 12 hours, let alone 24'.
