Numerous techniques invented by Viola Spolin, Keith Johnstone and Jacques Lecoq will be employed.

Neutral and half masks may also be used to tap into our inner creative impulses and to free us up. Focus will be on how to work as creatively as possible as part of a team and how to shake off any “inner blocks” that we have.

These workshops will be a place for you to: take risks; try out new techniques, add to your "tool box" of performance skills and - above all - laugh and have a damn good time (in a creative, safe environment). These workshops shall seek to reduce the “inner critic" in our heads and bypass our censors, so that we can be as creative, spontaneous, truthful and funny as we would like to be (whether we are working on a script, improvising in a rehearsal room or performing in front of a paying audience).

Kevin prefers to have a workshop with a wide variety of ages, skills and experiences, as this leads to the richest possible learning environment. Therefore, no previous experience of KEPOW! workshops is necessary. However, an open mind and a desire to “play” and give things a go, is essential to this work.
