BACK TO NEWS HEADLINESNursery Elective Writing Through Improv Sunday 24 April Do you fancy yourself as a writer? Good. This is an improv workshop AND a writing workshop. We’ll examines techniques that can be used for all kinds of stories, sketches and screenplays. Generate ideas through improv, explore, extrapolate then explore some more. This is an active and collaborative workshop focussing on character and story, so expect to use your own and other people’s material. JEN WILL MAKE YOU WRITE STUFF. And, JEN WILL MAKE YOU SHARE IT. It’s for your own good. Expect to leave with the beginnings of stories and the motivation to write them up. Jen Rowe is an actor with over 10 years of improv experience (The Maydays; Impromptu Shakespeare; 2Seats). She writes short fiction and is researching & writing a show about SF writer, James Tiptree Jr. Jen completed a 2-year novel-writing course at Sussex Uni and various Secondcity Sketch workshops.
