Finding the funny! 10.30am - 1.30pm
We all aim to enjoy the 'improvisational moments' when we are playing a game or performing a scene. Sometimes when we enact the rule of 'accept and build' we can come off with it not being as funny as hoped and find ourselves ending up in a comedy cul-de-sac.
This workshop will give you extra tools to help find the funny.
How to help your fellow performers find the funny.
Understanding how stepping in to help your fellow performers when you have nothing is often the best time to step in.

The Impro Surgery 2.30pm - 5.30pm
An Improvisation masterclass!!
Lee has been performing and teaching games, scenes, & longform for over 30 years and knows the subject back to front. Whether you are a beginner or an experiencer performer come along and find a solution to your own personal improv dilemma.
The format will be a short fun warmup followed by a mix of common improv problems such as
- How can I be in the moment more
- What is a good exercise to develop characters
- What should I do if my mind goes blank
PLUS many questions brought for consideration by the particpants

Delivered by Lee Tearrell, who has over 30 years experience doing comedy and over 26 years doing Improv. Performed and taught all over the country, the USA, Canada, Europe and India, for a wide and varied range of clients (prisoners to nuns!), in some weird and wonderful venues (castles to caves)!

Class size is 16 people max
(Notes: Minimum age is 18 years old.
