Improv Character Class Drop In

A fun, energetic session on Character.

An opportunity to do plenty of scene work with a specific focus on characterisation. This will be a chance to try and push yourself out of your comfort zone, expand your range and play as wide a variety of characters as possible using physicality, voice, status and observation.

This class is being offered on the following dates:

Sundays: April 12, April 26th and May 17

Time: 3:30-6:30pm

Location:  The Carpenter's Arms (upstairs function room), 12 Seymour Place, W1H 7NE.

Cost: £25 per class

Instructor:  Susan Harrison

Prerequisite: Previous improv training.

Monkey Toast Player, Susan Harrison trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has performed with various theatre companies including The National Theatre of Scotland, Soho Theatre, Birmingham Stage Company, Polka Theatre, and Dundee Rep. She has taken three of her own multiple character comedy shows up to Edinburgh and won a Three Weeks Editor's Choice award for her show Creatures. Susan has starred in two series of BAFTA nominated sketch show Definitely Not Newsround DNN (CBBC) for which she has also written and contributed her own characters. She runs a regular character comedy night Cabarera and performs with several improv groups including Showstopper The Improvised Musical.
